I. Optivalue.ai as data controller
1. Purposes of the processing of personal data
Optivalue.ai processes the personal data of Users and Visitors for the following purposes:
- Management of the opening and use of the User’s Account on the Platform, in accordance with the applicable general terms and conditions.
- Operational management of the Platform: enabling the User to manage its personal data processing operations and its compliance with applicable regulations; providing support and maintenance for the Platform.
- Customer relationship management: where the User is the designated contact of the client company, sending the User the invoices relating to the subscription taken out.
- Communication with the Visitor: responding to requests for information received by email or by telephone.
- Sending the Optivalue.ai newsletter (news and service offers), upon express request.
- Improvement of the performance and features of the Platform and of the Site.
- Monitoring and analysis of traffic on the Platform and the Site for statistical purposes.
2. Personal data collected
Creation of the User’s Account: surname, first name; position, title; name of the client company; business email address; business telephone number; postal address of the company.
Contact form: surname, first name; company name; business email address; business telephone number; any information provided in the message sent to Optivalue.ai.
Newsletter: email address. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk.
3. Data retention period
- Users’ personal data are retained for as long as they use the Platform.
- The personal data of Visitors who write to us are retained for twelve months.
- The email address of newsletter subscribers is retained until they unsubscribe.
- Thereafter, the data are archived in a secure environment in order to meet legal obligations.
4. Recipients of the data
The data are strictly confidential and intended solely for Optivalue.ai. They are never sold, transferred or rented to third parties, except to the hosting provider of the Site and of the Platform in the context of technical services.
5. Data security
Optivalue.ai implements technical and organisational measures to protect the data against destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorised access, and to ensure their availability and recovery in the event of an incident. A data protection officer has been appointed to ensure compliance with the GDPR.
6. Rights of Users and Visitors
Each User and Visitor has the following rights: access, rectification, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), restriction of processing, portability, objection, in particular to direct marketing, withdrawal of consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority) if their rights are not respected.

II. Optivalue.ai as processor
Where Optivalue.ai temporarily accesses data in order to provide support and maintenance, it acts as a processor, while the Client remains the data controller. Optivalue.ai undertakes to process the data only on the Client’s instructions, to guarantee their confidentiality, not to retain them after the end of the contract, not to transfer them outside the European Economic Area without appropriate safeguards, and to notify the Client of any personal data breach as soon as possible.
III. Cookie management
Optivalue.ai uses cookies to ensure the proper functioning of the Site and of the Platform, to improve the user experience, to identify Visitors and Users, and to analyse traffic. The cookies are intended exclusively for Optivalue.ai.
Settings are made via the consent banner displayed on your first visit and can be changed at any time. Settings can also be adjusted in your browser settings (Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
IV. Social networks and tracking
The Site uses the following third-party services:
- HubSpot (HubSpot Inc., United States — European instance, Germany): audience measurement, meeting booking and forms. Places cookies, subject to your consent.
- Arcade (Arcade Software Inc., United States): interactive demonstrations embedded in the demonstration pages. Data transferred outside the European Union.
- Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.): fonts.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag and LinkedIn Ads (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company): advertising audience measurement and conversion tracking. This tracker is activated from our HubSpot account and loaded by it: it places cookies and sends the pages viewed to LinkedIn. It is subject to your consent.
- LinkedIn (Microsoft Ireland): outbound link to our company page.
Interactions with these modules allow these services to collect certain information, over which Optivalue.ai has no control. Their respective policies can be consulted on their websites.
V. Hosting of this site
This showcase site is published on a hosting infrastructure that is not located in the European Union and contains no client data. The Platform, for its part, is deployed in the jurisdiction chosen by the client: see the sovereignty page, which addresses this point explicitly.
