Why translating is not enough
A regulatory term translated word for word often becomes a term that does not exist in the recipient’s law, or that means something else. The assessor on the other side then reads an answer that seems to miss the point. Answering in a language means using that country’s concepts, not the equivalent words.

Do not duplicate your repository by country. The instinctive solution for an international group is to maintain an answer library per language. Six months later, the Spanish version asserts what the French version has stopped asserting, and it is the auditor who finds out.
